With due regard to the safety and health of our employees, members, and the community, Jones-Onslow’s Board of Directors, at the March 24 scheduled board meeting, made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Annual Meeting of Members.

Last month it was announced that the March 27 annual meeting would be postponed. The directors reviewed the latest recommendations from federal and state agencies and, in the best interest of everyone involved, made the determination to cancel this year’s event.

“The board considered the risk to our employees and members,” said Chairman John Pierce, “and decided it was best to err on the side of caution and follow the guidelines for social distancing as well as the recommendation of limiting large gatherings. We hope the precautions we’ve taken will help our community in the coming weeks.”

“We look forward to the 2021 annual meeting,” Pierce continued. “Folks that attend the meeting have a great time and it’s truly a wonderful event that lets us bring our members and community together.”
